I live in macomb (20 miles north of detroit) I'm sorry to say that I am away at school as well to kalamazoo michigan (200+ miles west of detroit). If you live year round Im all about getting together seeing how we seem to have the same taste in cars and all (00 red rs). I cant think of any rally x around there but once in a while there are some auto x events at the silverdome.

I'm in Detroit also, not originally from here, but I'm living here now anyways.
There's a rallycross on the 24th of Sep, and an autocross on the 25th.
The best resource to find events in the area is

The guy who runs the website is a Detroit SCCA member, and a pretty cool guy. All of the SCCA events in the area show up there. Toledo isn't far and puts on really fun events also.

nice! too bad my beater wheels/tires are back in mn, but i'm doing the autox for sure! maybe i'll just use them anyways. just found out one of my teachers is ryan umm. forgot his last name, somthing like rakenburg or rackensackenburg whatever we just call him sac, he is the director or chair person or somthing of the scca detroit, races a s/c focus sponsored by ford racing.
