Help!!! I have purchased a version 5 spoiler for my '00 rs from AutoEarth. I've gone to three different body shops and no one will install it. I ordered it prepainted sedona red and it has all the mounting hardware. One question for everyone: How do you use the mounting straps included in the mounting hardware kit? And where can i get it installed?

 

I'm not sure what you mean by the mounting straps, but i have a 22b wing and i got it from Revolutions and he said to just use the factory holes and dont bother to drill new holes in the center of the trunk. Thats what he did with his and has no problems. He also said that i should use foam tape on the under side of the spioler at the contact pionts of where it rests on the trunk to prevent scratching. I havent mounted it yet but, it is getting painted soon and i plan on mounting it my self. you should try it to.

Yeah I wouldn't pay money for a shop to put it on. I put the one on my L when I had it.

Mounting straps?? The only thing I can think of are the plastic straps to tape down once you set the spoiler on right. That way you have a guide for drilling the holes.

Sedona Red in Richmond?? Haven't seen ya around.
