Ok,

So here's the deal.

I have been wanting to see Blue Man since 10 years ago when I first saw them on the Leno show. Since then I've seen them on TV like a million times and my wife & I have have been for years trying to plan a trip to NY to go see them in person.

Well, a month a go a bud of mine e-mails me telling me they were coming to town in July and that if I acted quick I could get in on tix for before they sold out. So, I jump for joy...go to Tickemaster and oredered two tix for my wife and I. I rarely spend money impulsively, but this was an _emergency_.

Fast forward to Monday night dinner at Janq's house;
My wife gets all concerned about leaving our 6mo. old with a sitter for so long...blah, blah, blah...she doesn't want to bring her either as the event will be at night & too late for her...blah, blah, blah...I get annoyed and decide not to go.

What started out as my idea of a chance to get away from being a parent for a night has now devolved into being annoyed and wanting to get rid of the tix.
