I agree and I actually dislike the shifters on the 800. If I had the money to spend on either of those two bikes right now, I'd buy the 600 no question.

I think the 800 has other stuff upgraded though - like a better fork and the like. Not sure as my interest has always been on the 600. That bike is beyond hot.

seems problemmatic to me...too much load and what do you really gain in the end?
maybe a pound or two...
but if you're that worried about weight, i'm sure we all have a pound or two we could shed in honor of lightness.
I don't worry about durability of that fork just because they've used it in racing and it's been pretty good. My biggest fear with that fork is how it would mount to my bike rack

I just pmd you - I was out cleaning up the power wagon I'd be down to do Salmon Falls provided my cell phone will work out there. Do you have any idea? I'm oncall so I have to be able to answer my phone should it ring.

You should still get signal at Salmon Falls.

I won't be back until Saturday afternoon, so have a good ride. We'll catch up next week.

is okay...i am sitting at home...its raining hard up here...
i don't mind going out if its wet, but when it's coming down and cold, i don't think it will be much fun.

lets try to hit something next weekend.

word. Sorry I never got back to you. I had reservations about committing myself to something this morning. I'm glad I didnt' - I slept so good .

I'm DEFINITELY down to ride next weekend. No oncall + no Saturday night work = funtime for sonic.
