Good times today!

 

I rode out in GB again today. Well, after I got my chainring issue all sorted out. The XT ring wouldn't fit on my crank so I got a nice fancy Race Face chain ring. The bike shifts from 1-2 MUCH better in the front now. I need to buy the Race Face rings to replace my small and big rings. They're *****in.

Anyway, pretty good ride out today. A LOT of beginners though. One group of about eight was running a beginners skill class on the trails. Always fun to come up on them. Also, a lot of (really hot) moms were out riding with their little ones, which made for some exciting encounters :\. Overall, a good ride.

Now I'll wait and see if Joe calls me about a road ride again like yesterday.

It just seems like something is trying to keep me from doing the race.

1.) broken drivetrain
2.) delayed economic stimulus
3.) fixed drivetrain, caught SARS

Pretty sure my lungs won't be up for Wed.

Hahhah... I was so pissed when I had that DNS on my first day, I almost threw stuff at you guys as you rode by.

 

heh that wouldn't have been nice. I was hurting that day.

 

It would have been funny, though... some random guy running out of the parking lot tackling one of the racers.

Leave Sac 7 or 8am

Drive time approx. 2.5hrs.

Fun single track & back to Sac.

I would but I'm not coming to Rancho Friday. Gonna work from DBTuned while Paul tells me how broken the RS is :\. I'll probably just do a road ride if this stupid wind goes away
