I haven't ridden in 6 weeks.

And I've managed to lose almost 20 punds and 2" off my waist. Go figure.

I'm just happy to be riding again. I was sore yesterday after riding for 30 minutes each over the weekend (mostly sore in the muscle in my lower leg).

So how is the Granite Bay trail? I am trying to pick a trail that won't make my buddy puke.

We're going Sunday if anyone wants to go.

It's not a bad little 14 mile ride. It's got some technical bits which make it fun and challenging. There's really only one big climb and it's not real long or steep. You guys should be fine.

If the weather is forecasted to be nice on Sunday, then i would suggest hitting the trail early to avoid all of the n00bs.

We were planning on parking at the Jr. High

We will likely be there before 8-8:30. Not sure. We've never been there, so I don't know how long it will take to get up there.

PM incoming

I just looked at FATRAC ride for Saturday. They are starting in the lower FDLT parking lot, riding the Loop backwards, and then doing and out and back on the Connector before finishing! That means the big Connector hill will almost be at the end of the ride! I'm already regretting saying I would ride it.

I guess none of you want to suffer with me.

What a goofy way to do the loop. It makes more sense to ride it like we do, from the connector trailhead, but maybe they were worried about traffic or something? Sucks that they're riding the loop backwards - they're gonna ruin it for all the people riding it the fun way .

They are starting at 8:00 in the morning (brrrr) so I don't think traffic is an issue. Maybe they are worried about parking. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.
