Ya it was really fun. Tires wise, I had 912s up there as I mentioned, and hey did very well. From the video you can see it was just a thin layer of snow abd pretty much ice under it so no rubber would do good on that. Regular fwy drive wise, trust me, there is no sliding left or right, DCCD ftmfw!

I di have to say that with a grain of salt since this time V12s will be on and I wont even try to be as relaxed as last time. In the rain they are perfectly ok but on snow... Yikes.

Ya hope lots of ppl join. Oh and also I have a few ppl spending holidays up in the Bay and Marine county is infested with fozzies so I might be going that way for a day. Id like to see if anyone would be down for that as well. Nothin' better than clam chowder at Pier Market imo! :0

I'm in, depending on the date. I can switch to my snow tires quicker now that I can jack up in the center using the skidplates!

Has a definite date been selected? If not, maybe the OP can post a poll on the top of the thread to let people indicate what date they're available. I'm available weekends, work all day during the week.

Doesn't seem like there would be much snow up there yet. My Jeep group cancelled snow wheeling up around Ice House Reservoir this past weekend due to no snow - it's just been too warm.
