Exclamation Saturday Nov 12th BBQ *UPDATED PIC's*

*Here is what people said they where bringing so far*
Me: Hotdogs, buns, condiments and charcoal
Nick: Hamburgers (and buns?)
Sam: Plates knives forks etc
adam: pop (I will bring a cooler full of ICE)

Pleas post what you are willing to bring and it will be updated across the three boards

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who: Any one that loves Subaru’s
What: A get together for a big BBQ
When: November 12th 2005 11:00ish a.m.
Where: Pena Adobe / Lagoon Valley park in Vacaville (Subject to change like if some one has a better idea)
Why: Have not figured that out yet if any one does let me know
How: It’s a BYOB type deal

Let me splane. I have never been to this park. I plan on checking it out tomorrow. I was told that it has huge parking lot and it’s well lit (from a couple of people that meet up on Fridays at B&N). As well there are enough places for us to cook lunch. I will post this across three forums iwsti.com, i-club.com and nasioc.com to try to drum up some attendance. What I would like is every one to give me there ideas on where we should have it. Plus if this is a good date for every one. As I know you can’t please every one but I want to try and get as many people as possible to show up. Once we get where and when we are going to do this set in stone I would like people to post what they are willing to bring. This is where it will get interesting is trying to compile all the information from the three sites. The sooner I can get the information the sooner I can get it back out to every one. I don’t want some people to bring a lot and some people to bring nothing. So now every one that wanted a Saturday meet is getting one and I am hoping our Davis brethren will be able to make it down as well. Let me know what you think.

With both of these parks reservations would have to be made and I have left a message at that number, I am just waiting on a return call.

Here a description of the Park that I got from cityofvacaville.com

Lagoon Valley Park
Pena Adobe Road just off of Interstate 80
The 470 acre park includes the historic Pena Adobe home, barbecue areas, horseshoe pit, multi-purpose field, bike trails, a small pond, excellent hiking, Lagoon Valley Lake for fishing and non-motorized boating. The park also features a 30,000 square foot fenced in dog park complete with trees, water and trash receptacles.

Pluntly of parking 300 spots, if I counted right.

That's a great site for meets. I used to host our annual Sporttrac meets there each year. It's a great spot to get Sac and Bay Area folks together since it's about 1/2 way. There is a ton of parking and lots for kids to do too.

Unfortunately, I can't make it to the BBQ.

If you're in Sac, you might also want to check out the weekly Monday night meets in Elk Grove ( https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-group-streaking-118/elk-grove-red-robin-circuit-city-weekly-monday-meets-7pm-e-g-93379/ ) and the weekly Saturday night meets in the Natomas area ( https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-group-streaking-118/weekly-sacramento-saturday-meets-6pm-every-saturday-30788/ ).
