I'm down for a good group run. I know there's a caravan leaving from EGKK, but they're making a TON of stops and it would probably be quicker for us to take a more direct route. What do you guys think? I don't really know the best way out there, but we can always meet up at my place in the morning..specially since I've already got two others there

I was planning on going with the EGKK since I went with them last year. Its not a ton of stops, plus its a ton of subies together which ends up being pretty cool

Tyson from Reno is going to be going to Mt. Hammilton. Looks like he's the only one we're going to be able to drag away from autox.

For those of us not going with the EGKK crew (you know, those folks that are too good to hang out with us on Saturdays ), how about meeting at Truxel and shooting down I-80 from there? We can pick up 680 and take it all the way to 101S and catch the back road to Mt. Hammy from Capitol Expy (lots of twisties, but not very fast)..

Aren't those roads in really poor conditions?

For those of you north of 50 and west of 5, I would take I-80 to 680 all the way down. Less traffic overall, somewhat shorter route, less chance of screwing up and getting lost (or just in the wrong place). Informal poll: those of you in the Sac area, how many of you take 5/580 to the bay compared to 80 west?

I take Hwy 5 to 205/580 only when I visit friends in San Ramon although I've taken Hwy 80 to 680 and it takes just a little bit longer on a weekday.

To visit friends in the City, I take Hwy 80.

Mathew Broderick is for roles that need more 'helplessness' than John cusack can show.
Maybe so, but not the John Cusack in "Grosse Point Blank".
