We should just raise the goal to 555 pages!
if we all go back to our n00b settings, we're even closer to that goal.

I hate having to call tech support people. My internet connection started dropping itself a bit ago and they are trying to blame my router, even though their troubleshooting "techniques" are ***.

I hate how tech support always try to blame your hardware. If the connection was still hosed he woulda told me my NIC was bad. GRRR. I want to shoot some of these help desk people.

I know, I remember how hard it was, i just hate how whenever you call a tech support place they always try to blame the problem on some of your hardware or software that they don't own.

That's called "survival."

Otherwise, you start hitting people with blunt objects and puncturing them with staplers

Well I guess thats partially true... My Comcast Cable went out the other day (just like, totally went dead) and I called up tech support. They had me reconnet the modem, but when i tried that it wouldnt reconnect. The guy had no idea what was going on, so he made me an apointment to get it checked.
The next day it went back on, and I called up to cancel and the techie said "Oh, looks like we had a system outage in your area yesterday and it got fixed" and im like, well duh.

On a positive note, Comcast emailed us yesterday and said "disconnect and reconnect your modem for 2x faster speeds!" Sure enough, I did that and did a test on broadband.com and we went from 2mb to 3.3mb download speeds, with a 240 upload speed! So im happy now
