did you get the 40 or 45. I think the 45 look to tall.

and it sound like the first one route I sent out is the one were going to do.

guys, i might be pickin up some rota p45r this weekend for mad cheap. will they hurt me out there on the road or should i keep the 17s for this drive?

what size? I think if its 18's or less your going to be fine.

i got the 45. i'm gonna cut my fenders over spring break (before the drive)..hopefully thats enough. i got the same exact size as you (245/40/17 was not availible) its only .7 inches taller than the stock size, so i don't think it'll be TOO much of an issue as long as it doesnt start rubbing on the strut/spring.

if you install yours before mid march, let me know what kind of issues you run in to. i'm gonna get stiffer (but lower) springs too, so i'll be at a similar ride height and all.

if you're worried about them breaking, they probably wont. i think rotas are pretty tough..the only concern you should have is if you have a little "off" moment like i did last time.

This is the first time ill be running 18x9.5 with a low offset, that is why i was wondering. So I should be fine then, cool.

Just take your car out for a test run to see if you have any issues running the wider wheels. This is the first run of the year, so we'll make sure to pace ourselves.

wello if the guy decides to sell em to me they will be rota p45R. as far as tires i was thinkin something like 255/35/18? but tonight im painting my stockers time attack style so i may just roll them out
