Yeah, I'm perfectly fine, and my wheel is. I just needa replace some things, and do my 60k so might as well all do it at once. i was trying to read a street sign cuz I was lost in SJ, and it there was no lights on the road. however there was a random cement median that decided to pop out in front of me, and i turned really fast but unfortunately my strut is bent and I have a feeling my control arm my be. The alignment seems good, and steering is the same, but theres a ****load of camber on the passenger tire. Sucks.


Oh. btw, anyone care to trade me stock hawkeye headlights for my painted ones w/ halos?

 

Glad you're alright Alex, what part of San Jose were you in when it happened? Hopefully it'll get all fixed, sucks though for sure. Oh, you're already tired of your modded headlights huh?

 

I have everything off of the hub and it looks like the only thing damaged is the strut body itself amazingly. control arm is straight and tie-rods are straight. however the wheel bearing will be replaced along, w/ my fluids, and shaved tire.. oh and a new strut.

 

Yeah, a bit. I kinda wanna redo a set so that would be pretty cool if someone would like to trade once I get the replacement relay for the pass. side angel eye. I know someone in the area, either here or sac area.

 

So is everyone here still interested in this Davis meet tomorrow night or what? It's getting down to crunch time & nobody is replying to this thread but me & Alex. Let me know what's up with y'all so we can maybe meet up here early to all drive there together. Hopefully all the Sac & Davis guys still wanna go even though our main planner Alex is now unable to due to his lil accident. C'mon fellas, speak up before it's too late. This could really be a good combined Subie meet if it happens, just wish it was closer with the highass gas prices & all!

Sorry for no posting any info about who's going to the meet from north side of Sac. I was busy plus find out that my car might have a rod knock, about 10 days ago engine starter making knocking noise. I'm hoping it's not a rod knock, just a bad belt tensioner or pulley.
I'm replacing timing belt in my garage now and don't think I can make to the meet tonight. Only 3 of my ppl can go.
Maybe we should set up another time at Davis, looks like something unexpected happened to all of us and our cars.
