I thought they were every other week but i'll still be down for a meet next Mon. Hope the stupid weather is fine by then (all this erratic rain sucks man).

 

Man we was waiting for y'all to show up too, maybe next time just give one of us a call/text to make sure if our meet is still happening. See y'all soon then, but next time don't be so discouraged from cloudy weather (it didn't rain at all that night).

I know this has nothing to do with our meets, but i just saw some sorryass **** at around 2pm today. I was driving west on Laguna Blvd & saw a motorcycle cop (who i was just behind at the turn light to get onto the street over by Chevron/BJs) pull over a black 04-05 WRX or STi with gold rims & a roof rack. They went into the Target parking lot near Del Taco, man that sucks. Wonder what he got him for & if he's an i-club member. Gotta watch out for Elk Grove popo cuz they're ****ing ruthless (i always see them hiding in the most oddest spots & constantly too). Trying to write all these tickets for stupid ****.

 

Maybe for exhaust. Most of the time if you're polite and honest and say you feel dumb and done get some chick then you're good. I've gotten let off for quick acceleration and exhaust plenty of times. Most of them say "I know your car is really fast, just try to keep it on the low" hahahaha

 

Eg and Lodi cops are the worst... All my tickets are from them and I live in sac...

 

Yeah, EGPD are dicks. Almost got jail time/lisence revoked from this one cop. Sucks, but for the most part I never EVER get harassed.

^You ****ing bet they are, always hiding in the most oddball spots where you'd never think they'll be. I guess you & me are pretty damn lucky cuz i've never been harassed by them either (knock on wood), and my ****'s super loud! Well, i hope more Subies come out, the bigger the better.

 

Here's the rub.. EGPD aren't "trying to write tickets for stupid ****".. You have to give PD a reason to write you a citation. Whether you committed a moving violation, or have an equipment violation.. EGDP doesn't need to make up reasons for giving folks tickets.. Any leo will tell you that you can just glance into traffic and pull out some kind of violation at any time..

EGDP is rather aggressive in their enforcement - but as a homeowner in Elk Grove - I actually kind of like that.. Although it is a losing battle with the Ghetto and I wont be living here for long..

Ya see - the trick is - don't give PD a reason to cite you.. Real simple.. Or - in the case of loud exhaust - be willing to live with the consequences..

You might attract more scoobs to the meet in Elk Grove if you weren't quite so "enthusiastic". Some of us just prefer to have a nice quiet meet where we can hang out and enjoy the company.. Having a super duper street racer mentality crowd is just asking for problems.. Only takes one a-hole reving the **** outta his engine - or tear assing out of a parking lot to have pd show up and harass the remainder of the attendees..

It is obvious you are enthusiastic about the whole meet thing - but tone it down and maybe more locals will show..

 

Okay WAY wrong place to put these but some ****ing redneck ****sucker backed into me so would anyone wanna trade me a 04-05 White rear bumper and tails for some gold stock 02 WRX wheels with BRAND new studded snow tires and set of summer tires. sorry for posting here just wonderin if anyone can help me out. My baby looks so ugly broken

no pics yet. made bumper flex and chipped hella paint off. but hey. good chance to upgrade to the 04 end like i want!
