The RS is not looking so good anymore ... a fuel line popped and sprayed fuel all over the place (not a good thing). Luckily no one was smoking in the area. Needless to say all the fuel lines were replaced ... still not tuned yet, but it does a nice alignment now.

We may have to photoshop my evo out of any pictures ...

FYI

Unlimitedlaps is providing lunch for drivers only. If you are bringing a guest or if anyone else from i-club is coming to watch, you need to either make your own arrangements or pay $10 for the catered lunch. If you do decide to go for the unlimitedlaps lunch, you need to email Hunpin before Friday so he can get an accurate count to the caterer.

Thumbs up Thanks to all!!!!!

Mike and I just want to say thanks to all the i-club members and other club’s who helped make this event possible. We wanted to give special thanks to Alfa's & Subaru, SubyDude, and StopTech (Tim) for helping get the cost down to the $190.00 driver fee with their donations/sponsorships. We would also like to say thanks to Unlimitedlaps.com (Hunpin) for all the help and organizing the event. All we really had to do was get the sponsors and the 30 cars. Without him this event would not have happed they way it did or as smoothly as it went and it would have cost you about $215.00.

Because we were able to get 30 drivers Egan and I get our deposits back that we fronted for the event . In addition, the company I work for (F. Rodgers Insulation) also helped with the deposit (as a sponsorship). Therefore, that money will be applied to the 30 cars and everyone will get a small amount of money credited back off the $190.00. Hopefully that will help you guys with some of the other expenses that we all incurred (gas, food, hotel's, more gas, etc.). Obviously it won’t cover those items completely, but it will put a little coin back in your pocket. Hunpin will do a recap and get back to me as to how much will be refunded.

The main thing I'm happy about is that everyone came out, had fun and no one got hurt or got their car smashed up! For the first timers out there...we hope it got you 'hooked-on-track' and that you will come out again. Maybe next year we can do it again and get more support from other venders/shops and have a totally private/exclusive day for all Subaru's. They only exception would be the instructors. We would only need 25 more cars, which is a lot, but if each of us can get one person interested in going maybe we can make it happen.

Again, thanks to all the sponsors and participants who made this a great day for all!

Regards,

Lowball (Lance) and Egan (Mike)

P.S. I strongly encourage you all to e-mail Hunpin (hunpin@unlimitedlaps.com) and thank him personally for the great day. I’m sure he would really appreciate it.

Hi, Hunpin. I am a forum moderator at i-club.com and would like to express my gratitude for hosting the October 4th Thunderhill track day.

It was very well organized and the drivers meeting was very thorough, emphasizing safety while still having fun. The instructors were very professional and patient with our novice driver/members, myself among them. The catered lunch was very nice, too!

I'm looking forward to another such event for Subarus in the future at Thunderhill, perhaps next year.

regards,
