Sorry I couldn't make it last night. I made a big boo boo. Decided to Seafoam some of the old residual carbon out of the exhaust side of the motor. WOuldn't you freaking know, I hydrolocked it destroyed something. I have no compression on all four cylinders. Another motor for me. Cries

Oh ****!

What did you mean by exhaust side of the motor? Both sides have exhaust ports, did you mean passenger side? And where were you putting in the seafoam at?

Sounds crazy that seafoam would hydrolock your motor, I've used the stuff before.

I meant the exhaust side. I was hoping to break the carbon off of the manifolds, x-over, uppipe, turbo, TBE. Before this motor went in, I was buring 1qt every 100 miles. This left a thick layer of carbon/soot through out. I figures I'd clean it out and start with a clean slate to see if anything new developed. It was a bad idea, bad bad idea. I sucked it through the the little 1/8" vac fitting on the front of the manifold. I think it is the line that has something to do with the fuel. I don't know. I've used that line before to do the same thing. I kept the revs up on the motor while I was injecting it. I really don't know what happened. Mike is going to bring the trailer on Mon to pick it up. Hopefully on Sat I can get it torn apart to the long block. I feel really freaking stupid.

So sorry to hear

Well its not like you or anyone else would have known that seafoam would cause that to happen to your motor. Hope you can get things back together and working again.
