Yeah, earlier would work better for me too. I went from work nights for over 6 years to working a "normal" 8-5 job. This is the main reason i havent made it out to the Duke for months.

I just finished up doing homework & I got class in the morning, too bad I won't be able to make it out for a while. Next Thursday I have off from school, I'm there!

 

W'sup fellas?! Currently, I have class Wed. nights 'til 9ish and work the usual 8-5 grind during the week. That's why I've seldom been out to the meet. Anyways, if anyone wants me to make any changes to the first post just feel free to let me know.

well, maybe we should move this meet to thursdays since the Big Dogs meet is basically dead. that way Karl can make it and that might be better for others.

 

Sorry bad idea, it don't matter where we go. It just has to happen on a Wed. If big dogs is dead, don't go to big dogs....

 

I say we make the meet at a earlier time as some can not make it on wednesdays thursdays is a good idea and big dogs is dead. I vote we make the meet at either pizza and pipes at a earlier time and/or duke. I am open to most times and locations as they are all about the same distance from me, and I do not have and weekly commitments like others.

 

I don't mind not making an appearance this season. The way the meet is setup now should workout for others. Typically, meets die down around this time of year anyhow. Plus, this meet just wouldn't be the same on a different night.

 

well, Wednesdays still work for me. I'd really like to start coming to the meets again and earlier would be better.

 

I just went on my first official run this past Sunday in my new Limited Edition STi and I had a blast. I was 1 0f 2 girl drivers amongst 28 other cars full of guys. The guys were great, they all took good care of me and helped me break in my new STi. You can check out some of the pics at the following i-club link.

I would love to meet the South Bay STi clan. I live in Castro Valley, and after going on last Sunday's run in the North Bay, I'd love to plan them once a month, or maybe bi-monthly. The guys that planned the North Bay run and I talked about rotating them between North Bay, South Bay, East Bay and the peninsula. That way someone in each area could plan a drive 2-3 times per year.

Keep me posted as to whether Wednesday nights are going to happen as well. I'd love to meet you guys and chat with you about the possibility of a South Bay run in the springl.

You and me both, Kelly. I've been talking about getting all of us together for a drive for quite a long time. For what ever reason it never happens. Last time a went on a club drive was almost two years ago. Needless to say things have changed quite a bit. You *uckers thought I was fast back then... Onemarmy and I have a route planned, it's called "25 to Life". It's way south past hollister all the way to coalinga. One of these days we'll make it happen. I guess more than anything, my car doesn't seem to stay running for more than two months. I have no confidence in it. Once I get some miles on it and it seems to e strong again we'll go rip it up, ok.
