I would also like to go for a cruise if this hasn't happened yet. There are tons of great roads around here, but often times I'm just not adventurous enough on my own.

Great route. I recommend getting on Old Santa Cruz Highway at the dam.

Sure, if you're a wussy. Why not take Stage Rd and other side routes instead of 1 and 17?
