Allright, I got my car converted for some gravel. The stock struts went back on tonight. I removed the side skirts and got some front mudflaps on. I have not heard back from psoper yet. I have pm'd him and emailed him as well. I got Max online as my co-driver. I just need some info about this whole thing. What is all entails? what I need to bring? What is the Gas situation where we are gonna be?
I can't wait.

So do we need to make camp site reservations and if so where, how etc.
It's probably in here somewhere but not in the first post.
Also there is a slight chance I won't be able to go. The car is using oil and the 60K drive train warranty only has only another 1000 to go. The dealer is monitoring the oil but claims that 1 quart a 1000 is normal. Trouble is I think it started doing it rather suddenly. Not quite sure what to do. I seem to be going through a bad patch of things breaking recently. Probably turn out I'm going to have to spend $3000+ in about 5000 miles just after the warranty runs out
Could drive the Camry wagon in a pinch but it's really not a back roads star.
Still, I've bought a new tent. If you remember the hangar I came with last year you might understand why I convinced myself I needed one. Actually it was more that the tent I had my eye on went on sale at REI and I needed a birthday present.
Assuming I don't get warranty distemper (frothing at the mouth and inability to speak due to frustration at the warranty running out when it looks like you car might fall apart at any moment) I will see you all on Saturday.
As last year I will bring a camping stove and coffee pot.

Hey there Tim, So sorry to hear about the car problems. I really hope that it won't cost that much. Well, at least not as much as you said.
The new tent was a good idea. Your last one could have housed everyone that came last year and still leaving room.
I'll have prenty of firewood etc....
oh and about the camp site? A few weeks ago when we went up i don't believe Pete made any. We just paid and stroled on in. We also got there much earlier and had lots of sights to pick from.

We will be at Burlington campground again, like Rich said we didn't have a problem getting a site just wheeling in at noon last month, but it probably doesn't hurt for a couple of us to have reservations either.

What does it cost so I can have the correct arrangement of bits of green to cross their yellow envelopes with in case they are palm challenged this weekend.

Lasyt month if I recall correctly it was 15 dollars for a campsite and another 6 for an extra car ( I think it went up quite a lot from last year), so 21 in the yellow envelope.
And the drive thru tree is $3 (that might have come down- I think it was $4 last year)
