I guess we'll catch you next week 1badwrx. Hope you're at least gonna have some fun.
I'll be there tonight guys, but traditionally we have dinner with my father on Wednesdays, so I'll most likely be seein you at Denny's at 9. I should have 4 radios to play with, never could get the kid's radios to work, even though it's all Motorola gear...

Hey folks,
Last post from me untill tonight.
Just a reminder: If you're interested, bring your two favorite "driving songs" on a CDR to be compiled into the "Wed Night Fever" CD.
See ya at Pizza.

(And I'd be into a WRC DVD too: no hurry though)

I only have 3 copies with me tonight, James, Dom, and Shayne claimed first.
Mike, if you want to maybe meet for lunch tomorrow I can bring a copy for you tomorrw. =)
I have the raw vob files on my server at home so making more copies is not a problem.
Anyone know where to buy this DVD? I have only been able to find PAL editions for sale in other countries. =(
Thank God for SuprNova and a 6Mb pipe to muh crib!

its a secret. No, www.dslextreme.com if you get service with them let me know and I get a referal bonus.
Right now its only $60 a month for 6Mbps/608Kbps ADSL.
I have never received anything less then the best from them so far. If you get the 6Mb/608Kb service and have problems with not getting that speed, have them call SB to check what the loop was provisioned at. SBC are a bunch of money grubby *****es that will milk every penny they can.
note: My line was provisioned perfectly, but my friend who got the 3Mbps service was provisioned at 2Mbps.

More fun for some than others, I'm afraid.
We lost one over the edge (a toyota, acutally), and spent several hours waiting for the tow truck and then limping home. I just got in at 3:30 am.
He got incredibly lucky, basicly. Understeered off the edge of a wet road and came to rest ten feet down a gully. He was perched on a fallen tree, with his front wheels ten feet off the ground.
They pulled him up with a winch (sory, Ben, but I think the Baja would have been out of its league), and the only appearant damage was to the front and rear bumpers and one fog light. We taped the bumpers on and drove it home. Score one for toyota.
Not the kind of excitement we went out looking for. The ironic thing is that we were all being fairly cautous. We'd hit some heavy fog and the road was wet, so the pack was fairly slow. However, the 2WD car was appearantly still going too fast for the turn.
Alright, now that I've spewed all that, maybe I can get to sleep.
See Y'all next Wednesday,
Mike
