Well Matt, you didn't miss much. It was a fun drive, but a short one thanks to a little traffic and then two cops sitting at the bottom of the hill. We certainly raised their eyebrows, and got a flashlight shine too, but that was about it. We were affriad one of the cars up the road had called us in or something. But decided to call it a night early after that. No sense in pushing our luck. We eneded up in Watsonville so I just came home while the other guys headed for donuts.
I turned around and went up 9 and on my way up I caught up with Mike in Felton and we tailed an Altima for a while and I had another lovely night up in the mountains. The road we traveled as a group was a pretty cool road, I am down for a quicker run through the next time around.

I saw the bug-eyes behind me, and once the altima was gone, I tried to give you some sport.
Dude... I ran over something right in front of the Mountain Store... something alive.
I think... I HOPE... that it was a raccoon.
Did you see it? What did I kill?
You may have noticed that I slowed down a bit after that. It freaked me out...I was imagining people's pets.

So yeah...family member is coming down with a flatbed to pick us up. could have the stealership down here fix it, but they want $790. Catalpa St. Garage (in Soquel) says it is a $300 part and about 20 minutes of labor. Talk about a stealership...
so I'll be on my way back up tomorrow. if im not there wednesday night, you know why. hmmm...maybe i should put in a cold air intake since the MAF will be out anyway
have fun, hopefully ill make it
