Ok , so apparantly a number of people tell me that when they are following me and i get on it there is a seriously bad burning smell !! Any ideas?

 

are you catless? if not check around your turbo for something that may have come up off the road (ie a small piece of plastic) and stuck to something under there....my buddys audi had a plastic bag that somehow got stuck under his car and melted to the turbo and even though most melted off he had a burning smell for a looooooooooooong time....long shot, but worth a check...

 

what type of burning?

Metal? Rubber? Oil? Coolant?

i had the same problem did you just install a down pipe by chance? check the a/c run off tube near your down pipe thats what mine was

 

Yeah put it on fairly recently but its only really recent since people have been comenting! Its apparantly like unburnt fuel smell. I cant actally smell it inside the car, its the people following me as im getting on it!

My car is sitting at Lloyds off River and they can't do the brakes because I can't find my damn wheel key. I can't get home to check my garage until tonight.

does anyone local have a spline drive lug key? Just like the generic one that you'd get with say....a Rota wheel package or something like that from subydude.

I need it BAD today/tonight. I can return it tomorrow or at starbucks on wed night.
