Any you guys going to the monterey meet this saturday?

I might be making some changes to my system pretty soon here. Possibly going to different front speakers. I'd sell mine fairly cheap. They are CDT's. 6.5 inch. The euro model. shallow debth. Good speakers. They sound pretty good. I was gonna put them in my girls car but selling them would help me buy some new isht. Think they were $450. I'd sell em for like $200 or so.

I might be going to a completely different set up so I want to match from the start. I might be selling my sub set up as well and building something lower profile and rebuilding the back of my car.

base power for a stock wrx is around 165-170 whp. similar torque.

You have some decent gains there. Just goes to show what a proper tune can do. Must feel really nice.

Yeah sometimes it boosts really hard. But generally very smooth. Definatly worth it in the end.

it'll boost hard when the air is cool, and it'll boost lower when it's humid outside

Ray? You a graphic artist in the Soquel area?

If so, I think we worked together for a short while there...I drive an M3. I remember you being in one room on your Subi forums while I was in the other on my Bimmer forums...LOL

Just joined here looking for some karting action...the BMW forums are getting a little slow on that.

just do the install yourself dood, you don't need that many tools.

This is the how-to I used:
http://www.weblumen.com/subaru/brakepads.html

Then just bleed your brakes with new fluid and you're done!

buy yourself some decent pads and fluid and do it yourself. Be around $200. If you want rotors it depends on what rotors you get.
