Whats up guys. Just want to say i am not enjoying my new VF34 turbo kit because its still sitting on my closet floor. Its driving me nuts that I dont have time to get it installed. Work is freakin' busy for me this time of the year. All my time right now is split between work and my fiance/2 year old son. Someday it will be in. I'll let you know. I'm gonna go be sad somewhere else now.

Seeing as the UFO events are about over, I just might upgrade my brakes and start doing track days or something.

We could always do an install day.
If you have a cobb AP you could probably get a base map from your tuner so you can at least break in your turbo and get to the tuning shop.
Winter is the best time to do install parties because as you sweat it cools you down.
Turbos are easy to swap out. I've yet to do injectors and fuel pump on a wrx but it can't be that hard.

I actually might have a chance next week. Im actually doing office work next week instead of being in the field. I have alot of autocad wiring schematics I have to finish up. But if I get ahead alittle, I might be able to. Plus my boss doesnt micromanage me. As long as my projects get done on schedule, he doesnt care what days or hours I work.
As for doing it myself, The turbo would be no problem. Ive done my own UP/DP. But I am not touching injectors or fuel pump. Ive already decided on Gruppe-s to do it. I do have an AP. And Im going to stick with the off the shelf map for a while.
I'll be able to make a decision once I see how things go monday.

I wouldnt bother mounting all seasons to your new wheels. I would mount some 615's or RS-2's to them forever. And search craigslist for some cheap all season, or even M+S if your going to the snow alot.
Id get the two extremes if i were you, one set Summer, one set M+S rated.
But i wouldnt waste my money on any All Seasons/M+S unless they were cheap and used. Put your money towards race tire technology, not grandma wagon tire haah
You can checkout the Hankook RS-2 which competes with the Falken 615's. The RS-2's are cheaper, they have the same TW rating and they have AA traction opposed to 615 A traction. I got the RS-2's for my miata before i got my RS and they are super soft, felt like drifting in thick pudding.
just dont mount all seasons or M+S on your new wheelset, unless you can mount and balance for free somehow. Just drive slower with your summers in the rain, and when you find an empty parking lot, youll be able to drift better with the summers than you would All Seasons.
Ive heard the 615's rubber is very nice in the wet
