I think its more about even torque than anything, 45 ftlbs isn't that low when it's even. I still have to put some force into loosening the lugs. 60/65 isn't crazy high to wear it would hurt anything but I would be weary of going above 80 ft lbs. But thats just me, I had to have a wheel bearing replaced when I bought my car due to over-torqued lugs. Maybe 02's and 08+ have different torque specs. I am just going off of what L.I.C. recommended
Anyhoo, anybody do any Rainy day mobbin today?(besides Matt lol)

He's got some skill in the snow/ice but he's also a ****ing moron. I stopped counting how many times he went in to the opposite lane because of sloppy lines, nearly hit mountains because of sloppy lines and endangered other drivers because he's a moron.
scandinavian flick is not necessary for every damn turn... ESPECIALLY in the snow.
Most of what I saw is really just a disregard for the loss of a vehicle and bigger ***** than brains. Anyone that is willing to loose a vehicle can look like a savage.
Dude is lucky the forester is such a bad *** platform.
His hand control on the wheel is worse than mine.
Both of you guys should have gone on some of the drives we used to do in the past and some of my snow drives. LOL!

Are you sure they said 45? I find that really hard to believe... Both tire shops I worked at had ft/lb charts and manuals and no make/model was ever that low...45 is way too low that's not tight enough to keep lugnuts on...oem and aftermarket lugs
Not trying to be a dick haha but 65 ft/lb is what most subarus are...

overtorqueing is not necessary and can actually be a bad thing. Beyond the fact that removal is a PITA. I hate when people over torque my isht.
