There was a falling out between Nick on Nasioc and Alex (Imprezer). They started the original i-club years ago. They had a falling out and Alex split and created this i-club. Alex owned the name i-club.com so he got to keep it and Nick had to change his website to Nasioc.
I joined there in January or February of '02 and they existed there for years before that. If we knew member numbers here, I'm probably below 10 or at least below 15.

I'm rubbing like crazy on my set up... Need sum 40 series tires.. Maybe back to 225..Can you even be functional with a 18/17x9+ Rim (255+up tire) without looking like a lifted truck? I'm on 245/45/17, not even dumped and rub on my liner.. Cant imagine running a 9" wide rim with a beefy tire and not rub..

Yeah track days are grip.
If it's an organized track day they're usually around $150-200 each. If you're trying to do one yourself it'll end up being more.
Then tack on the cost of tires, fuel and brakes and you're going to be out of pocket at least $500 a head.
Beyond that, I don't think I'd do it. And most of the folks here have never been on a track before and should do a pass with an instructor. My advice is to wait until there's an organized track day and just get a group of guys together to go.

where are you getting those numbers from Justin.. last time i went there on v-day it was $500 a couple. Seca is not cheap at all.. you're more than likely looking at at least $200 a person/car..
you can run a 255.. if you want a "beefier" tire you need to go to a 17" rim to not rub as much if at all.. 17x9 on 255/40/17 should be fine.. here are some examples..

That was the only way to be in the loop as far what was happening with I-club.
