Torque increase of the 2.5 over the 2.0 plays a big part in the driveability and usable powerband. Plus bigger is better LOL The JDM STI's 2.0 has a twinscroll turbo so it is able to make simillar power to US 2.5 STI's..... I wish we had twinscrolls state side (grr)
at least you arent these guys.

My quote was MUCH higher than what you paid. LOL! Think I'll be going 2.5 and then I'll build my 2.0 up myself over time and maybe plop it in a sand rail.
does anyone have a tool to test for a boost leak? i cant be sure i have one but i just got that feeling in my gut haha. Any local shops that are reliable? I know there arnt any subaru specialists around here but this doesnt seem like an issue I would need one for.
