BRZ would only need the 265hp WRX motor to be faster then STi's being it's about 600lbs lighter. An STi with 350hp would be a rocket!

Why an Evo? I love my STi.... It's fast enought. The 200hp 2.0 doesn't get my attention.. That's all. To tell me to that I should get and Evo is like insulting me lol I'm a suby guy! Lol! 0-60 in six seconds? Wtf stock sti does it in like 4.5ish... If the new brz was that quick I'd smash one but it doesnt. BRZ's looks are better... But STi is faster and handles great! I pick my go fast STi over the "good looking" brz... STi engine and I'll take a brz.. But doupt I'll ever get any other car... My 2nd STi,3rd Subaru.. I love Subaru and miss em when I don't have one... Ima get a Subaru tattoo on me lol

Where are you getting your numbers? Stock Evos have 286hp/300tq and with bolt ons and stage 2 tune they hit 330awhp/320wtq easy.

Depends on what eve you're talking about and depends on what bolt ons.... I don't buy into the stupid stage set up. That's just a marketing tool to get you to buy certain parts together.

Evo's are nice and put serious power down with minimal mods but I hate paddle shifters(I know you can get manual) plus mitsubishis don't have the build quality of subies. I think the BRZ is a great car for the drift market light,RWD, lots of tourque= fun as hell to drive! However I personally wouldn't buy a non AWD car and for performance wouldn't buy a non turbo car, so the BRZ is not for me. But I can admire it for what it is and cant wait to see it in person and hopefully test drive one someday. We have to remember that cars like this are supposed to be fun and we should try to enjoy them for what they are. I am not much for American muscle but the new mustangs and caddy ctsv are bad ***! Newer hyundai cars like the genesis and sonata turbo are also nice. I am just glad these kinds of cars are coming out and hybrids havnt totally taken over...

Those numbers were for the old 4G63 and the new 4B11 makes even more power.

Stage 2 package being an intake, exhaust, fuel pump, MBC, and custom tune.

I DD my car so a rough Evo with crappy interior and no cruise control(IX) isn't for me. Plus that boxer rumble is too addicting.

So I'm thinkin Tax time is gonna bring me the stock location Garret GT35 and injectors. Will this be too much to drive every day? And I also am thinking of raising the car and getting narrower wheels. The smell of burning rubber and the sound of the street vs. my frame is getting old, and constantly replacing lips that hit the ground and rip of on the freeway

If you go big turbo you should definantly get more functional with your suspension/wheel setup. You want to be able to put that extra power down in straights and corners

you dont think a gt35 is too big for your 2.0 and miles on your car? I always wanted that turbo....but im sure if i search around ill find something that better suits me....ive thought about going small like a 20g...fp red, fp green ( ED from EQ ran that on his dd sti when he still had it), Doom something..lol (hence the i need to do research stll lol), gt52, sr55....Id have to talk to ED and lay out a plan...but yeah if i remember correctly i THINK the GT35r is the biggest turbo you can run that's a bolt on...close to 390ish on pump (91oct)
