No drag strip operates when it's raining or if there is standing water on the track, for obvious safety and liability reasons.

Sacramento Raceway has a link to the local weather. You'll have to watch the weather even through Saturday because Sacramento weather will sometimes change compared to what is forecast days even 24 hours in advance.

We are keeping our eyes on the weather as well....each day the forcast changes....as one day it says 20% chance the other 60% etc...
If it doesn't rain the temps r gonna be as such that cars will run record times

BTW there are gonna be about 10-12 cars meeting @ Vishnu leaving @ 2 pm or so...if the weather holds up.

Today is nice and sunny in Sacramento so I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

This is as of 3:28am saturday.
A few showers early becoming steady by the afternoon. High 63F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

I have a feeling this will be cancelled.

 

Rather then jumpin the gun....go to www.sacramentoraceway.com or call them up on their info line thats posted on their web site, which they update every few hours on race day...as the track will not cancel a event unless its actually raining...stuff doesn't get canceled because of forecasts...which is changin all the time.

Keep ur fingers crossed in this time of need, our best chances are of this weak storm passin us quickstyle...and lettin the track dry by this afternoon.

well nope wont happen today.

and bill its tony (guy from sf called you last week on rods and stuff sti block i got) ill give you a call monday.

 

It's been steady light showers since before 10:00am in much of the Sacramento area. The way it looks, no break in the clouds in sight so you should probably assume that Sacramento Raceway will not open the gates tonight.

I found the news out as my car was being dyno tuned @ Vishnu...Not Good........ Movin on, Nebody feel like comin out on Oct 29th....????.

There are a few other quick...nono...FAST EVOs will be out there...along with myself and some Rexs....i think we may still have the tropheys from this past weekend..?? for the fastest car.

Oct29th@ Sacramento...lets hope the weather holds this time.

BTW my car feels silly fast now as the car and its setup are being refined...

 

We'll all hope that the weather is okay for that day. Although I won't be in contention for the fastest suby, it would be great to hang out and support you all.
