Sorry i've been laggin on the updates...heres the latest

Saturday Oct 23rd from 5-11 pm@ Sacramento raceway park
Heads up drag racing...that means no head starts/no dial ins/no eliminations.

So far we have many pople comin with various FAST cars(READ 11 second or faster cars)......both Subbys and EVOs

$35 entry fee

Cars representin:
Gruppse S
Vishnu performance systems
LIC motorsports
Fine line imports
Performance west
and more shops (that for some reason did not want be made public) r confirmed to be there....

We have 75 spots reserved for our event/cars, so far we have atleast 60 cars attending/racing...

We will be racing from LANE 4, which has be set aside for us...and will have more lanes if need arises.

Each car should get 7 passes min...but may get as many as 10-12 depending on #'s of car...as this event is limited to a total of 200 cars Max with no slow 20 second cars....things move along quickly.


I was informed there will be tropheys given out for the Fastest EVO/Fastest SUBBY by the racetrack...the fastest car of course gettin 1 st place....along with other prizes.

The officals @ the track are excited to have or group/event...

If u ever wanted to meet other guys from the forums/wanted to see how fast some shops and their cars are/ or if u ever wanted to back up all that talk and see how quick ur car this IS the time...not to mention racin a EVO here and there...

ALL subbys are welcome to race....as well as EVO's...slow hondas please save it for the bracket racing drags

Hey, did you guys invite WORKS RALLY in SF? They got a couple fast EVOs as well.

 

Yes i did.
They may or may not come...i talked to teyler and jamie, a few times.

 

Nice .I would love to see the EVO's & STi's .. I hate to chose cause they are both awesome cars .. lol

 

I checked Sac Raceway's site and I think admission for spectators is $10. A good deal since you'll see a lot of quicker cars on this day than regular Wednesday Night Drags.

so any prizes for this event ive invited a few srt's also that lives close there so just to make it interesting.

 

evo_dadi, i think we should keep it just between EVO vs STi.

 

I may come out and spectate and take some DV footage

We may get together a lunch meet beforehand...say about 1:30-2 pm or so

 

As for prizes those are in the works...there will be tropheys given to the fastest EVO and the fastest Subby.

yea, will this still happen with the impending rain? ill be there for sure if it still happens.. everyones got AWD, they can still race
