Hey all my fellow driving friends. It's that time again and i'm putting together another "SICK" drive for all of us to go on. Well the crazy ones anyway.
So far on all my drives we lose, meaning someone crashes, on almost every drive i've ever put on. While the ones that didn't crash say it was the greatest thing they've ever done in a car.
Well the route hasn't been desided yet. I'm getting together with Krinkov (jeremy), Roo (greg) and hopefully psoper (pete) to go up there and find the "ultimate" way. But sitting on my a$$ and going over maps, this is what i've come up with. To be driving to deside if it's worthy.
Meeting Place: Krispy Kreme in Santa Rosa.
At the corner of Santa Rosa Ave & Yolanda Ave. Really early 8:00 with a leave time of 8:30 am.
EVERYONE FUEL UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!that means you too

14) At end of road turn (left) onto "Hwy 29"

Details will most likely end up changing. But i wanted somthing down.
The drive should be on May 16th but that's not 100% final.
Scouting for this drive should be happeing in the next week or so.

It is pretty long, I can give you approximate mileage when I get home, but a lot of these roads are not the kind that can be driven at very high speeds, so it might make for a long day trip.
this might be a bit ambitious for a "before rally time" drive, but then again- it might be just about right.

WRC's cyprus round will be broadcast on Speed that evening.
But since you mention it-
In July I'm putting on a 2-day gravel TSD out of Yreka, planning trips will begin in May and I could use help both with planning the weekend and working it.
And it would be good to get some BAIC participation at the competitor level, too.
El Grand Bano- Some of this is in Medocino Forest- Bartlett springs and so forth....
But rich this probably is biting off a bit too much:
Street Atlas tells me 225 miles in 8+ hours.
Let me come up with a route suggestion tomorrow, we can probably hit the high points without quite so much seat time.

Thanks Pete. When i was looking at the maps and thinking about the drive it looked long even then. So if you can come up with something i would love it.
Bill, what he means is i need to be home in time for the WRC on SPEED TV by 6:00 pm. Plus make dinner before hand. Start time may even be earlier. Hell i could even start as early as 6am. But i'm a total early morning nut case.
Like i said i am looking for tips and suggestions from my friends.
If we have to drive straight up to Hopland and then head (east) from there i will be upset but willing to except it.
