Yeah its the Nor*cal meet guys/gals down in south bay should organise something and we'll come down for that.. But still alot of people travel up which is cool, always good to meet up with new people.. I know its far north but the drive is worth it..

its this Sunday the 4th just to clarify..

 

Don't be scurred! Bring some buddies along too... preferrably hot chicks.

 

I was thinking that the next drive be out to Mt Tam or somewhere. Still North Bay, cause most of us are from Santa Rosa or nearby...

lol somebody put a flyer for this thing, while I was in class and I didn't notice it until I drove home. Whoever put it on my car, I've gotta say you did a great job at sticking it under my wipers because it didn't go anywhere lol. But yea, wish I woulda found out about this earlier I've got plans Sunday already. Have fun guys and be safe

 

Is this still a bbq? I thought I read that it changed to bring your own food?

 

I'd say everybody bring something as regards food and we can all share I suppose..

There are some BBQ pits but we need someone to bring some grills and charcoal..

I'll put up a few fliers this weekend, if I get the chance. I'm actually heading down to Santa Rosa today.

As for the BBQ, there's a nice parking lot behind one of the supermarkets in Gualala, that might make a great meeting place. Also, it can double as a supply stop, so we can snag some fresh steaks and the like...

 

next time somebody makes a flier they should post the image. That way others could use it too

I had posted something about the people saying this was too far to drive....but I realized it sounded kinda mean so I edited it lol. Seriously tho, Bay area is not NorCal. Hate to break your bubble(s), but thats just how it is I think Irishdude put it best....start your own drives!! You have the majority of the Subie population anyway...and I am sure many of us NorCal folks would join you.

Please dont think I am trying to be rude. But maybe the "oh no, a 1-2 hour drive" is out of place when you are around those of us who drive 5+ hours (one way) for a tune, a drive, or a peek at "civilization"

*edit: I just picked up 14 pounds of Ribeye for $4 a pound....so IF I do come I will be prepared!!

 

anyone from s.f, s.s.f, daly city about to go? I would rather do a caravan, or follow somewhere to this. Dont want to be a lone ranger. Let me know.
