Hey North Bay folks! Come volunteer at the Mendocino Rally:

https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetin...iah-ca-264335/

Best meet around! Plus, you get to hang out with a bunch of other crazy car folks and talk cars/whatever all day!! No sitting around a parking lot, come sit up in the wilds of Mendocino county! Much better views

Currently doing a gas mileage test, not getting on the throttle for a full tank of gas. Very difficult feat to accomplish.

I'm getting 12 mpg when not taking it easy, so I'm hoping for 18-20.

I've been lazy as **** and haven't gotten the entry level HAM certification, which is kind of key for working Blocks. 2 years ago I worked a block relaying through another HAM operator at the next Block up from me, which was probably annoying for that person. Actually come to think of it, I have reason to believe that was you wasn't it?!? Also worked "Spectator Control" that year on Sunday, which turned out to be useful as people don't know how to stay away from the road.

I should stop being lazy, go find a place to get my certification online, then grab a simple HAM radio and volunteer again, yes that would be fun.
