Off topic but how bad on your engine is it to run no air filter. Beside vacuum the dust out of my engine bay. The other day I discovered my cone filter feel off my intake tube and into my wheeel well. Lucky I'm a tinkering type of person and found this while trying to tap in to a power source for some LEDs.

Ya that's what I thought. Been on the street so far and stayed clear from big puddles if the past few rain storms. So I think I'm fine. I also made my carb feel a little bit more torquie after the reinstallbof the cone filters.

How much is the claim for? My school runs the small claims clinic for sonoma county and they could probably help you out. Empire Law School in Santa Rosa.

Okay folks, time to get back on track. Chris had the foresight to add St. Patties to our event calendar, yet there has been no mention of plans for tomorrow. Is there any interest in having a meet, maybe some drinks too ?

Hey Everyone,
I'm a long time reader but first time posting. I live in Sonoma, work in Santa Rosa and am interested in meeting up with other local I-clubbers. I see that I just missed this weekends event, is anything going on tonight?

So am I crazy? I installed my down pipe two weeks ago and my average mps are in the up 20's close to 30 mps. Also I'm getting more range out of a tank of gas.

I feel like mpg calculation via the ecu monitors can be deceptive. However, if your doing a full tank vs miles covered it would be hard to dispute the results.
Not sure about your driving habits, but it seems plausible if your keeping the engine under 4k rmps for daily driving and use 5th gear around town.

everytime I fill up i take gallons / miles and theres the mpg. the error of +/- .5 per fill up (top off) is somewhat negligible since its put in there with 12-14 gallons at a time.

thats how i do my mpg

I do short shift around 3k in town and nor more then 5k getting on the freeway. So your saying the
Cobb AP maps might miss calculate mps.

I have little to no knowledge regarding the accuracy of the accessport MPG calculation. What I do know, is that Cobb maps work well on some cars and not so well on others (perhaps thats why). I can't say enough about how much better my protune feels than stage two.
