Well being from Sausalito, I dont feel like driving one hour to meet you guys in a parking lot in SR. The most logical location is actually Petaluma, because it is closer to Napa. Again, up to you guys but the less I am on the freeway with a..holes that cant drive when it rains, the better I feel.

I think it's asking for trouble to have a curvy mountain drive on a day when it is forecast to be dumping rain. I understand AWD = amazing, but the fact remains that it will greatly limit the fun of a good road, as well as adding that condition for someone with too little self-control behind the wheel.

Now that my PSA is finished, I hope you all have a great and safe drive! I'd like to go on a drive sometime if you all ever organize one that is within my STI's fuel range of ~130 miles roundtrip. 2000cc fuel injectors and E85 are a cruel mistress.

very understandable. I guess what we need to do is decide where we are going, that should dictate where we meet. Anyone have any burning desires on a final location/path to get there?

personally, I have no preferance

Yikes, and here I was hating life on a 180 round trip tank. Where do you get E85 around here?

Yeah that was one of a few reasons I stepped away from the E85, the other is access up here.

I agree that if it's still this wet on Sunday, twisty roads sound like a bad idea. My car especially is not see up to handle well in the wet, especially with all this standing water on the roads. That being said, we can still go for a short cruise which would accommodate vodkas fuel restrictions (Also curious where you even find e85 around here).

I really don't mind either, let's Just meet somewhere where there is a chevron and or a coffee place near by.

Here's a suggestion for the meet point in SR for you guys. It's right off the 101 and close to the 12. There's also a Chevron just down the street (Santa Rosa Ave and Colgan Ave).

Guys i dont want to be a party pooper, but the more I look at the weather, the less I want to drive in that rain tomorrow, since we all know that it will be like today. So I am going to pass. Driving in the wet around other people on tiny roads is not my definition of fun. It's more stressful that anything. For some reason, I feel like something bad may happen and I really dont want to ruin my car. But have fun! And be safe!

I think this is a smart move; better safe than sorry. For those of you who go, please have fun and be extra careful
