MEET UP: North Bay, lets get it going!
Stoptech recommends at least two cycles of the procedurres Ben listed. I did the first set, drove around (I was in Tahoe so it was easy to find a nice deserted road) for about 20 mins, did another set, drove around for about 10 mins and then did a half a set.
I found that if you go from 70-10 the brakes start to stick a little and might lock up. Id recommend no slower than 15 when you brake.
Also, when you first start doing it start off with like 70% braking power to bed them to the rotors. Towards the end of the second set you should be applying damn near full braking power at 70mph.
Once I got mine bedded in, and allowed them to cool off on the drive home I decided to see just how hard I could brake and stop.
I did 80mph. Literally tried to put my foot through the floor using the brake pedal... and then was unprepared for the violent and beautiful stopping power my rotors, pads and stainless lines allowed for. I almost smacked my face on the steering wheel, and at 70MPH I set off the ABS briefly
So in closing... if you do it right the first time, you will have fantastic stopping power which for you would be good for drives with us turbo charged folk.
In my 98 Outback (modded quite heavily) I could brake almost as fast as Chris B's STi, and coupled with my lowered center of gravity and 245/45 series tires I could out corner him :P
So better braking=more entry speed in my method of driving.
Glad you are happy with your purchase, its one of my favorite mods to any car (upgraded braking) because I tend to sometimes get a little over zealous in the corners and sometimes just a quick strong shot of braking is enough to keep me from dying in a fiery crash

Don't get me wrong, the Outback was an NA beast, and she will be missed!
To Brooke!
I'm not sure you exactly "out cornered" the STi, however, I will give you credit for taking corners as well as the STi. The Outback gave little to no tire squeal whereas the STi had a significant amount of squeal, but we all know that the stock Dunlops on the newer STi's are garbage anyways (which I had on the car at the time we took that little drive).

If you do anything this Saturday, you *****es better be at my place, that's where we're all going to be.
6 PM
If you don't know where it is PM me.
Bring something when you come (beverages or foods), if everyone brings one thing we'll be all set.
