what is their procedure say to do with this?
if they say wire it to a circuit that deals with the parking brake, it is a rather simple procedure.
if it says having to do other things, it might get a little more complicated.
but from the stuff i read, some require that a single wire just needs to "see" ground and that completes the circuit within the head unit. usually, the parking brake does something similar that's why they have people use it since you are not supposed to watch anything on that screen while the vehicle is moving, unless it is a rear view camera or navigation info...

I was going to run into the Subaru dealership in Fremont but realized that they are closed today. I was wondering if anyone has extra oil filters. Would like to have oil change done tomorrow. Let me know.

should of let me known couple days ago... we have some oem oil filters at the shop, but we are closed this weekend.
I'd just run over to pepboys and get purolator filters because they are exactly the same as the oem white filters (because purolator is the manufacurer for the white oem ones). I forgot the part# but I have it written on a post it in my car somewhere.
and i don't need to to an oil change anymore because I went and did it during work friday afternoon since I had nothing to do :P
