Hey can we uninstall the silencer on my stock intake? I want that loud hissing sound. THANKS! I don't know how to do it or what parts we need. But I hear that we need to take out the front right tire and take it off from there or something.

Actually guys, I have a new priority install I need. I was originally going to get my uncle's shop to professionally install my TBE, but they don't really specialize in performance parts, and they won't let me help them install it, and they're overestimating the time it'll take to install it. They claim it'll take 6.5 hours WITH a lift and they're charging me a pretty penny for it. And I've read on many forums that it'll take half that time to install it with a lift. So I was wondering if anyone was down to help me install a TBE: heatshield, UP, DP, and CBE. Anyone is welcome to help, but I just prefer that someone with experience with UP/DP installation to be there to watch over.

never did an up pipe before but i install all of my mods myself. dp took me 2 hours, and CBE took me about 1.5. idk how hard it will be to do the Up pipe but i imagine its gonna be the same as the DP. only reason it takes so long is because the bolts that hook up to the turbo are a BIT** to take off. you need some liquid wrench or something.

i would help u with the install... but we live a lil distance apart..

the install should take u around 5 hours at home at most...

for the uppipe u can either take the turbo out, or take the headers off.. u will need new gaskets for everything.

the dp and cbe should take about an hour if u put liquid wrench on first.

but besides that its fairly simple.. i have done it alot...

i didnt use any pb blaster though i had them, didnt have too much trouble with bolts.

I don't think we'll be installing my DP/UP at the meet. I'm heading to SJ that day to get it installed and visit some friends. But I'll be there to show it off...
