hey fellas...so this week got even better for me and my homie...
did plugs the other morning, super easy install, everythings good...so we decide we might as well install the sti springs that my boy brought down from portland...
had the FR strut out in about 20minutes, thinkin we are good to go...doin the little 17mm socket and 6mm allen key dance to get the first assembly apart and that motherfluckin piece of sh*t crossed up on me
fought with that bit*h for over an hour and decided to put it back on and take it to my boys to hit with the impact...didnt work. cant even get it to tighten back down with a breaker bar! so now i have a wicked clunk in the FR and im not happy.
so unless someone knows anybody ditching some low miles front struts, im gonna have to take it out and have it seperated and fixed at a shop

is it stripped or something? it just wont budge?
thats sucks!!
i stripped my front bolts after being trigger happy and tightening the top nut with a impact drill trying to rid of this clucking noise (caused by wrongly placed washer i was not aware of). i forked up 5 bills for new front struts with "6k miles" and had to drive all the way out to watsonville.
i was so close to getting coilovers then i decided to save a thousand dollars and get new struts.
hey, if you want, i do have my old ones still, the stop nut needs to be re-threaded, if you can get it threaded, i'll sell it to you cheap, i'm estimating it has around
5k - 15k miles on it :x (previous guy had coils but dont know for how long)
on the other note, saw this @ clayton road heading to my boy's house. caused by two senior couple, they're not hurt as far as i can tell.
