I think we have all of like 3 entries from this board, you two and platypus, then we have a couple of cars signed up from Oregon and a couple from Washington, and one from Arizona.
We have to limit entries to 30 for timing sake, but we really need 20 to break even with expenses, so if you know anybody that might be interested, get them to sign up!
I was really hoping for a few more i-clubbers, we seem to be able to get a lot of you guys out for Rallycross at T-hill, -on a rallycross you get what maybe 5 minutes seat time? covering maybe 3 miles?
This will be a couple hours more to get there, and I know entry costs about 5 times what a rallycross does, but Golden West will have you driving for almost 16 hours, nearly 400 miles total, almost 200 of them off pavement.
Seriously I really think you guys will have a great time, its sure been a blast writing it!

I've told almost everyone i know. But i'll keep hunting for people. I'll also ask my brother-in-law if he has any friends up in the Chico area that may be able to do it.

Pete, just wondering... Where else have you posted this rally? and if someone wanted to drive it in a "Jeep" or a "4X4 truck" would that be OK?
let me know just in case someone asked me.
does NASIOC (spelling?) know about it?

Yeah its posted over at Nasioc, but nobody around here seems to read that, a few people from southern cal have hinted they might except for the haul up there, which I almost understand, but then again I've driven down there to run several rallies.
I'd be a little leary of encouraging anyone with a lifted "real off-road" truck, as these roads are tight and twisty and the pace is a bit brisk, clearance is not as important as a low center of gravity, and I'd hate to see one of them tip over, but it really would be prime for a small SUV.
I've probably got all the Subaru's we need, I should probably start haunting the Audi boards.
Speaking of Audi's I was teaching a friend how to drivein my 4000 and she drove it into a couple of telephone pole sized fence posts, so my next summer project looks like I'll being taking it apart and putting on another front end, if I can find one

Good luck stirring up the Audi people. I truly hope you/the organizers can break even on this one. It sound like it's going to be a blast! I'm AMPED!!!

Oh, and sorry about the Audi. She's a good steed, and I hope for a swift recovery.

I'm looking around for donor parts, but we might have to shoot her, or part her out anyway- she has served me well though, gotta say I got my moneys worth out of her!

I'll be at the Economy Inn Friday through Sunday, that is the event "Headquarters".
I'll probably even drive up Thursday night as there's a bit of preperation to deal with, and we're hoping to do registration and some hospitality for anyone who gets there before 10 or so Friday Night.
If you're coming from Chico, I'd suggest getting a pretty early start, but you're only a couple hours out, I'd suggest you try to be in Yreka about 10:00 Saturday
