Hey Scott, are you still interested in getting my car on the dyno. I talked to Nate last week when i went up to Sac and he was busy all day with a car but he said to let you guys know a couple days in advance. I'd be down to come this wed. and then head over to sac raceway after.

Dropped by Tognotti's this morning. No one there has ever heard of Geddex window marker and they carry nothing like it. I know where to order it online but it the shipping and handling costs are higher than the cost of the product.

as to window marker, they sell it at the track in the souvenier stand. I dont know how much it costs, but usually there will be somebody there who has some and will let you borrow it if you happen to be a cheap bastard like me.

I would love to come out and race, but i fried my clutch last time i was out at sac and i still havent gotten around to fixing it. I have the clutch and flywheel at my house, but i just havent gotten around to putting it in.

Hehe, better a fried clutch than a busted tranny, thats why i ended up with a fried clutch

lol you said this is the other thread also..... you are 100% WRONG. hot air makes for less power and thats why cars run slower in 100+ weather then they would in 70 degree weather.

 

it's a joke from another car forum (i think an audi site) that i'm pretty sure others here have read, hence the improper spelling of power followed by several exclamation points and a few 1's. i know that colder air makes more power.

 

So do people still want to go?

Thanks, I didn't know that because I'm too cheap to buy any souvenirs, hence never venture over to the stand.

I'll buy my own bottle. I'll let fellow club members use it but I don't loan it out to anyone else because I hate having to chase them down to get it back before my lane starts moving again.

Well, it seems like it's going to be hot tomorrow and not a lot of people really want to go. I think I'd like to cancel this and reschedule for a Saturday later this year when it's a little cooler out.

 

Damn, I would have come down to heads-up with kostamojen's frankenstein. I really think my car has 14.9s in it, heat or no...
