Looks sick, but I don't know where you'd get the speed to lipslide that big concrete "C" lookin' thing like they show that silhouette doing.

That's part of my problem with Wormhoudt, he throws stuff in "just for kicks" that isn't even ridable. If you want to see a perfect example of his crap work, check out Windsor's park:

Windsor Skatepark

That park is 10 minutes from my house and I haven't been there in over 3 years. Pure garbage.

Don't get me wrong, some of his newer stuff is decent (San Jose, Louisville) but there are a lot of mistakes made because they're not skaters. He's just waaaay too cookie cutter for me. Make sure you keep an eye on things!

Grindline and Dreamland FTW!

Just went to the new Oakland park yesterday. Its a pretty fun park, my only complaint is that its a little small and obstacles could have been spaced out more.

Would def go back there again though. The park is in a kinda ghetto area so its probably better to go there in the morning. Also while we were there Cairo Foster just happened to show up, pretty cool dude. He threw down a few sick tricks while we were there.

Next time I'll bring my lil camera with me and try to get some footage.

We should setup a St. Helena meet one of these days. I'm going to try to get there Saturday morning if anyone's interested.

Another update on the Fremont Skatepark.

Myself and a number of skaters (and local residents) attended a Fremont Recreation Commission meeting last week. I got my name in the newspaper too which is at the end of the article HERE

Don't let the title of the article mislead you. The writer left out the most important part until nearly the end of the article:

Despite the complaints, the Recreation Commission voted to recommend that the City Council approve construction of the skate park along Paseo Padre.
Oh btw, the City Council meeting on this is scheduled for September and you can bet I'll be there!

Pfanner FTW! That guys skates crazy fast, especially in person!!!

Looks like I'll be heading to St. Helena on Sunday morning if anyone wants to join me and a couple of buds. We'll be there around 9 or 10:00.
