Outback Legacy XT turbo swap???

I have an 05 STI turbo and intercooler sitting on a shelf in my garage. I just bought my wife an 05 Outback Legacy XT (turbocharged 2.5 L) and was wondering what challenges I have ahead of me with a swap from the stock turbo and intercooler to the STI ones.

Just curious.

You'll need to swap the intake manifold as well. There may be some other bits, but I think the intake manifold is the only big bit that you'll be missing.

Probably want to get a tune as well.

The STi intake manifold throttle body (and intercooler connection point) is on the top of the manifold, in the center. The Legacy GT manifold has the throttle body off to the right.

Since both throttle bodies are drive by wire, I'm pretty sure that the STi one will work with the LGT.
