Idle Air Control Problem - Intake a Problem?

I know for a fact I currently have an IAC problem.

your dealer have one step to do before replacing the iac, cleaned. why? b/c the moment they take it out its gonna be full of carbon. If that dosn't fix the problem you will have to replace it

I had an iac problem for a while (po508)

I ended up having it fixed through the dealer under warrenty.

I would be hesitant to take the dealership's advice on this, unless
they are reputable and will give you the straight, no BS answers.

They will give you the MOST conservative answer they can, so as
to cover their asses.

I ran an intake for a long time without IAC problems. Check out the
IAC valve and clean it a bit and see what it does. Also, check the PCV
valve, and replace it if it's old. It costs like $1 and can affect your idle.
