EJ20TT Turbo setup

I have a EJ20TT engine and i have been told it is better to convert it to a single turbo setup.Just wondering if aney one has done this and what are the gaing of doing this.I am going to run a Haltech ECU so the original ECU will not be used at all.I was going to set the turbo's in paralel to iliminate the use of solinoids to turbo's so they cut in at the same time but have been told the smaller turbo will over speed.
Conclusion to goto 1 larger turbo like a VF34.
Question is would this be a better setup for peformance or are people teling me to do this for eas of setup.

Thank you
Jason

if i recall correctly the turbos are differnt sizes .. making parrallel not the best of idea

i would think that a set of take off wrx headders+td04 (cheeeeep) would simpifly the setup and make just as much power
