Custom Cold Air Intake pics

had time on my hands so i ripped out the snorkel and air box/resonator from the liberty.

went down to the hardware store and got me self some 3.5" toilet pipes and angle bends.

60cm 3.5" pipe - $10
2.5" to 3.5" adaptor -$3
70 deg angle cut - $3
double sided foam tape - $2
rubber connector - OEM
busted and swollen lip from looking down into the pipe while pulling out the adaptor - PRICELESS

low end torque is heaps good now and revs up quicker and more responsive....

but..high end is a flat tho....DOH!

any one else had luck with tight **** DIY CAIs?

I had to deal with the MAF so I kept the stock airbox
