2.2 liter Turbo- performance ?

I am rebuilding a 2.2 liter turbo out of a 1993 Subaru Legacy. Is there a lot of aftermarket support for this engine? and if anyone knows how I can make this engine fast and who to call for parts, I would appreciate that information also.

I know this engine came stock with 160hp. Does anyone have a built one? How fast and what was done to it? Thanks.

'93 Legacy Turbo

I am new to iClub. I'm looking for help or info on adding an intercooler to my 1st generation Legacy(s). I've had a '94 Touring Wagon for a few years and just got a like new (53K miles) '93 Sport Sedan. I'm South of you,north of Austin on Lake Travis. I'd be interested in hearing what success you are having on your project and might can be of some help. If you find someone knowledgeable, I'd apprecaiate your letting me know how to contact them.
