fyi...if you're interested...picked up the car from subaru and was told they had exhausted everything from replacing the brand new plugs and testing all spark plug wires to resetting the cpu to no avail. so i was told it was an octane thing...only problem with that bull@*!# excuse is that i have always used premium. i've put in dry gas thinking i might have picked up some moisture but doesn't seem to matter much. here's the stem of my suspicious and courious disposition...i've never felt this car ever miss a beat until the service... i'm at my wit's end. any insight would be really appreciated!!

they replaced: plugs, air cleaner, front and rear diff fluilds, tranny fluid, fuel filter, and 'inpsected' a bunch of stuff. and here's the kicker...they claim to have road tested the car after the service. the car has a recommendation of premium fuel listed on the filler door and i have always run premium in all of my cars. there aren't any codes, which is why they are assuming it is a fuel related problem. the car definately is mis-firing and is progressively getting worse. there is a noticable loss in power and when accelerating from a stop, the car surges and starves as if someone is pinching the fuel line. i will be a thorn in the dealers *** next week if this thing doesn't clear soon. i do want to thank everyone who is helping out and offering their opinions...
