Sorry you weren't approved, if they can somehow get you approved on a 04/05 Forester XT - might be a lot of fun too
FYI - the Forester XT is grossly underrated and very quick. Think of it as the ultimate sleeper on the road.

Finally approved! I'm finally getting my 05 Legacy Wagon. It's just like the one above, but with some small customization from yours truely, Tri-State Subaru. They are tinting my windows and adding a special paint that I'd like to call Crystal Teal. Others think it's something like Seaside Green.. Whatever. It's beautiful. The total cost: $28,389. My '94 Wagon GT proved itself in the end, with a surprising trade-in value of $790. I was thinking $200, but hey. I'll take the $790.

I haven't been on in a while because of work, but I figured I'd fill you all in on what happened.
Got approved and all, took our new baby out of the dealership, waving fairwell to our trusted 94 legacy. Turn signal on, and off we went... or not. The car would not MOVE. it was on, and the RPMs were up, but no GO... what the hell was wrong with the car? As I sit here today reflecting on my horrific ordeal, I am back in my 94 subaru. I am sulking right now as I am typing because I want my NEW car back. They always say every dealership has a bad egg.. but why mine? SIGH.
Someone lend me a shoulder to cry on.

OMG I can believe that, I've never heard of anything like that happening. I'm kind of surprised they didn't give you another one or at least a loaner. May be they didn't have the same exact model, but gee you must be really depressed. You've gone through a lot trying to get this car.
Hope they get it fixed fast.

Actually I had a minor problem with mine just after driving it off the lot - the A/C started blowing hot air the minute I drove off the lot. And it was 92 degrees out, haha. I drove home with the windows down, called the service dept, brought it in the next morning, they fixed it no big deal. All they had to do was hook it up to their A/C machine, and it started working again, like the system just needed to be primed or something. Ever since then it's been perfect.
