Question Sun Visor Design Problem - 02

The sun visors on the 02 outback wagon interfere with the interior rear view mirror. If I put the passenger sun visor down, the extended part knocks the mirror out of position. Does anyone know if this was addressed by subaru or am I just stuck with poorly designed sun visors?

This is the first time I've heard of such an issue. You might consider taking it to a dealer and asking them if the window and mirror are original equipment, or if that's how it's supposed to be.
