I was just wondering if anyone ever used the center sun visor located right above the rear view mirror. I think its pointless, but i just wanted to know if anyone used it.

OK Guys I dont think it's a sun visor its used to block glare from your map lights and to prevent the auto dim mirror from dimming when the lights are on. !I think!

That POS doesn't do anything. I do better putting my hand up in front of my face. It's way too small to be useful. You'll know my car when you see it because there are really tacky looking pieces of cardboard stuck permanently in that gap between the two real sunvisors. Drives passengers nuts.
Why do Subaru and others make the visors so short? Had the same problem in my Taurus. The Impreza visor also does a poor job when swung to the side if the sun is coming in over your shoulder. Not a major pain, but irritating on long drives.
Others have suggested putting a banner or a strip of window film to cut down on sun glare.

It works if I flip it down and then sit WAY up in my seat until my head is touching the roof :/
Someone had their turbotimer installed there, I figure it may be a nice place to stick your clock if you use the center gauge pack...
